Hidden MSN Emoticons

Have you ever noticed one of your contacts on MSN Messenger using emoticons (either in their MSN Name or during a chat) that you have never seen before and could not locate in the MSN Emoticons list? Its very likely that they are aware of the secret emoticons and are using these hidden MSN Messenger emoticons, even if they don't tell you so!

These are secret emoticons hidden in MSN Messenger, and here we will tell you how to find these hidden emoticons and smileys.

Please note that most of these hidden emoticons were initially introduced into MSN Messenger 6, although all are still present in MSN Messenger 7 and 7.5, not all of them are still hidden or secret and appear in the standard emoticon list.

Also remember that MSN Messenger 6 and 7 allows the use of custom emoticons in conversations, so not all emoticons that you are are secret/hidden emoticons, they could simply be custom emoticons that the contact has added to their MSN Messenger, although this is not the case with emoticons used in their Nickname (see above).
